Calling all members!

We just wrapped up our fantastic 2026 conference, celebrating 25 years of Apra Canada! To build on all the great momentum from the conference, Apra Canada is putting out a call for volunteers in a number of different roles. Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the association and meet other prospect development professionals from across the country!

We're looking for people to help in different areas:

  1. Apra Canada's Strategic Plan
We're currently shaping the strategic plan that will guide the association for the next few years. This is your change to voice what you think will be important for your profession. Volunteering will involve participating in online meetings with the President and the committee.
  2. Regional Representatives
We're looking for regional representatives across Canada to host small, informal member gatherings. Regional representatives are responsible for organizing these meetups at least twice a year for members in their area.
  3. Professional Development
Would you or someone you know be interested in presenting a professional development webinar to the Apra Canada membership? Let us know!
  4. Conference
We just wrapped up an amazing conference that wouldn't have been possible without our volunteer conference committee. Believe it or not, we're looking for people to help with the next one in 2028! Volunteer commitments will be lighter at first but heavier leading up to the 2028 conference depending on the role.
  5. Board of Directors
We're looking for board members to join us in 2027.
