A Senior Research Analyst is being sought as an integral part of the Governance & Advancement Services team to develop and maintain a sustainable major gift pipeline, and to provide strategic research support that will assist in the identification and cultivation of donors and volunteers committed to Sinai Health Foundation’s philanthropic goals.

Reporting to the Director, Research Analytics, a Research Analyst is being sought as a critical member of the Governance and Advancement Services team to build our donor pipeline by identifying new prospects aligned with Sinai Health’s priority areas, liaise with foundation colleagues to develop and maintain engagement strategies, and to complete research profiles, lists and other research products to support the strategic priorities of the Sinai Health Foundation.

The Prospect Research Analyst is a member of the Research and Pipeline team, and reports to the Manager, Research and Pipeline within the Operations and Services department and will be a member of various University Relations work groups and committees that deal with prospect, fundraising, engagement and information management strategies. The Analyst works collaboratively and in a consultative manner with a wide variety of stakeholders including staff across the University Relations team, (College or Centrally based) the President’s Office and other administration to support the university’s advancement objectives.

Under the direction of the Associate Director, Advancement Services, the Prospect Development and Records Specialist will support the fundraising and alumni engagement initiatives of the college. The Specialist has five main areas of responsibility: 1) prospect identification; 2) prospect management; 3) prospect research; 4) records management; and 5) competitive intelligence and constituent development. The Prospect Development Analyst is integral to the success of Covenant House Vancouver’s fundraising program. This role will be working in a highly collaborative and supportive team-based environment where the successful candidate can hone their research and analytical skills.  Working alongside and reporting to the Manager, Prospect Development, the Prospect Development Analyst contributes to the meaningful engagement of donors and prospects by providing research materials and strategy recommendations to the Philanthropy Team. This role is specifically responsible for collecting and presenting research data to support the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual, corporate, and foundation donors.

The Development Officer, Prospect Research & Management (DO) is responsible for providing research, analysis and data management support to staff and volunteers engaging in fundraising activities. As a member of the Advancement Department, the Officer will provide expertise in aligning research and prospect management strategies to Kids Help Phone’s strategic goals and operating plan – delivering prioritized, high quality, accurate and timely prospect research to build Kids Help Phone’s supporter base, increasing not only quantity of the prospect pipeline but also the quality of the organization’s prospects and data. The DO is responsible for the accurate information flow to and from fundraising staff and to ensure the integrity of prospect data and reports in Raiser’s Edge.

CAMH Foundation is seeking a self-motivated Development Research Officer to join a dedicated team of professionals working to build and maintain long-term donor relationships. This highly engaged individual will be part of a team committed to delivering high quality prospect research to achieve the fundraising goals for individuals, corporations and foundations. Working in a fast-paced environment, the Development Research Officer will identify and qualify new strategic prospects, prepare prospect lists and briefing documents to support the Foundation staff and senior volunteers in their prospect, donor and volunteer cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities, and ensure accurate entry of research information into CAMH Foundation’s fundraising database.  In a nutshell, this is a fundraising role and requires experience in a fundraising setting.

The Sr. Prospect Development and Research Officer will engage in both proactive and reactive prospect research and identification, conduct pipeline and relationship development activities, monitor relevant news and industry trends, and offer support for prospect and donor strategies. This role includes mining our existing Raiser’s Edge/NXT database to uncover opportunities to expand giving. Collaborating closely with fundraisers, this role is instrumental in achieving our fundraising goals and objectives and as well as securing vital support in service to our mission.

Reporting to Director, Major Gifts and working in collaboration with peer Research Officers, the role will support the fundraising efforts of the Major and Estate Giving team and the Foundation. This role will play a key role in preparing research products such as profiles of key individuals and organizations as well as other research duties as required. This role helps inform strategy, develop relationships, and contributes to the overall fundraising goals of The Princess Margaret.

The Business Analyst will be a key contributor in creating regular and ad hoc reports and analytical analyses to enable data-driven decision making for stakeholders across the organization. In this role, you will translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements and engage in the end-to-end analytics life cycle involving data exploration, data cleaning, data synthesis and data presentation.
