The Research Specialist delivers decision-ready information to support complex fundraising and alumni engagement strategies at the University of British Columbia. This position has significant responsibility for identifying major gift prospects and quantifying the value and potential of the donor pipeline. This research role is a key part of the team to growing philanthropic support for the University and aids in enhancing alumni engagement.
The Major Gift Officer is an integral part of the Faculty of Human Kinetics/Engineering and the Advancement team whose focus will be on fundraising plans to support the University’s capital expansion as well as student scholarships, endowment and faculty and research development. This position will have responsibility for raising funds for the Faculty priority projects and plans.
Reporting to the Director, Donor Relations, the Donor Relations Officer, Communications and Engagement, helps to cultivate existing donors for additional gifts and fosters long-term relationships between these donors, their families, and the university. Stewardship is an essential part of the fundraising cycle of identification, cultivation, solicitation, recognition, and accountability for the appropriate use of donor gifts.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Principal Gifts, the Donor Engagement Officer, Principal Gifts, helps to foster long-term relationships between the university and its principal donors and prospective principal donors in the $5 million + range. Principal donors are a key constituency whose engagement is vital to the advancement of Queen’s strategic priorities and transformational initiatives.
CFCC is seeking an individual with strong facilitation skills and a passion for designing conversations and resources that support collaboration and shared learning across organizations. Working within CFCC’s Knowledge Exchange program, the National Network Coordinator will coordinate activities within the Good Food Organization Network, and contribute to content development, facilitation and partner support for over 300 organizations working on food security programming across Canada. The National Network Coordinator will work with support from CFCC program staff to coordinate regular network calls, develop resources including profiling network stories, coordinating virtual and in person gatherings, building new relationships and completing program evaluation.
The Coordinator, Donor Experience & Gift Processing is accountable for processing all online gifts including tributes, peer to peer and signature event donations. In addition, the role is accountable for providing database support to the Donor Experience team as well as Finance & Corporate Services department. As a collaborative member of the Marketing, Communications and Donor Experience department, the Administrator, Donor Experience supports stewardship of all of Ooch & Trillium donors and plays a key role ensuring accurate and timely processing of donations. Working with the donor experience team, the incumbent will process both monetary and non-monetary donations in to Raiser’s Edge, issuing tax receipts as per CRA guidelines and working closely with our accounting department for accurate record keeping.

This Management position oversees the fundraising operations team within the larger Marcoms & Donor Experience (MDEX) team.
