Senior Research Strategist, Prospect Research - University of Calgary

Reporting directly to the Manager, Prospect Research, this position is responsible for managing strategic information that will assist development and senior staff with the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift & high level donors (>$25,000 with focus on $1M+). The Senior Research Strategist will manage all efforts to build a pipeline of qualified donors in support of key institutional initiatives. The qualified candidate should have knowledge of a wide range of electronic and print resources and must be highly proficient in the use of sophisticated searching techniques and analysis of financial and other information.

Senior Development Officer, Prairie Provinces - Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo

The Senior Development Officer, Prairie Provinces will be responsible for managing key relationships with a focus on raising major gifts to support the conservation mandate of the Wilder Institute. As a member of the national Development team for the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo (WI/CZ), the Senior Development professional with a proven track record of identifying, prioritizing, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major gift prospects to support the institution’s fundraising priorities, is committed to managing relationships with donors and partners by adopting a philosophy of donor-centric fundraising.

Prospect Researcher - World Vision (Full-time Temporary)

The Prospect Researcher is responsible for major gifts prospecting and research, database management, and pipeline development, including moves management, financial reporting, and analysis. This individual will ensure that all WVC Philanthropy fundraising teams are equipped with robust pipelines of well-researched Major Gifts, Corporate and Foundations prospects. Additionally, the Prospect Researcher will provide donor management support for Middle Donors and Church Engagement. Together with the Product Manager, Campaign Manager, and Director, Philanthropy Engagement, they will build and maintain a strong moves management system that continuously moves donors through the stages of the donor cycle while continuously conducting internal and external research to identify and allocate new HNW individuals, corporations, foundations and planned giving prospects to the Philanthropy teams’ pipelines. They will also provide strategic direction on the structure of CRM ensuring they are meeting the unique needs of all Philanthropy teams to create a best-practice customer service model.

Community Engagement Co-ordinator - The Bishop Strachan School

The Community Engagement Co-ordinator will help support, and deliver community building programs that connect diverse communities and encourage meaningful dialogue. The Co-ordinator will work closely with departments across the whole school by organizing and executing event activities adhering to school policies and procedures. The Co-ordinator will be the first point of contact for the Parent Association, Alumnae Association and other Advancement community building events and groups arriving at BSS. Campfire Circle is currently seeking an Officer, Prospect Research to join our Donor Experience & Analytics Team. Reporting to the Associate Director, Donor Experience & Analytics, the Officer, Prospect Research is a hands-on and participative member of the Development team, providing critical research and prospect management support for Campfire Circle’s fundraising program. The Director of Development holds a crucial role in strategically creating and executing a comprehensive annual and multi-year development plan.
