Associate Director of Alumni and Development Information Systems
University of Victoria

Greg Churchill has been working for 25 years in the higher education sector including public relations and communications, student services, alumni relations, fundraising, and advancement services.

Throughout, data and information technology have been integral to his work, having overseen the development of online research profiles, job search engines, online communities, mentoring, and alumni and donor digital engagement services – from the early days of the Web when you had to build your own software and databases to present day cloud services.

Greg is currently Associate Director of Alumni and Development Information Systems at the University of Victoria and leads a team responsible for providing business intelligence, reporting, CRM support, training and onboarding, data governance, and information privacy and security in support of University Advancement. Looking forward, Greg anticipates a more prominent role in empowering his prospect development colleagues with increasingly sophisticated data driven decision making tools.
