Selene Hur is Manager of Prospect Development and Research at the YMCA of Greater Toronto, where she has spent more than 17 years building and leading the Y’s prospect research and management function. Selene enjoys mentoring emerging prospect development professionals and has presented at numerous conferences, several webinars, and also taught at Georgian College and Humber College.
An active volunteer, Selene has served in a variety of roles with Apra, including board member of Apra International, President of Apra Canada, and Chair of Apra Fundamentals. Most recently, she completed ten years of board service with the Toronto Wildlife Centre.
Selene has a BA (Fine Arts and Cultural Management) from the University of Waterloo, Graduate Diploma in Nonprofit Administration from Concordia University, and MISt from the University of Toronto.
