Selene Hur is the Manager of Prospect Development & Research at the YMCA of Greater Toronto. She has also taught the Prospect Research course at Georgian College for the past 5 years. Selene has presented at past Apra Canada conferences, AFP Toronto Congress, and North American YMCA Development Organization conferences. Selene is the President of Apra Canada; she previously served as the Director of Mentorship, Director of External Relations and 2012 Conference Co-Chair, and the Logistics Lead for the 2014 and 2016 conferences.
As well, Selene is on the board of the Toronto Wildlife Centre and President of the Toronto Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae Association. Selene holds a Masters of Information Studies from the University of Toronto. Prior to that, she completed a Graduate Diploma in Nonprofit Administration from the John Molson School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts and Cultural Management) from the University of Waterloo.
