Based in Berlin Germany, Melody is the Head of Philanthropy with Climate KIC specialised in International Fundraising, Prospect Management, and Nonprofit Management. Melody's fundraising career spans over fifteen years and several sectors including Arts, Education, Health, Animal Welfare, and Wildlife Conservation. Her area of expertise includes Major Gift fundraising, Prospect Management, Sponsorship, and International Fundraising. Melody is a past committee member at IDEA (Inclusion Diversity Equity Access) for the Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Global and a speaker and advisor for the Chinese Association for Fundraising Professionals. She is a former board member of the Association for Professional Researchers in Advancement (APRA) Canada, and is an active speaker and educator with APRA Canada, APRA International, CAFP, and German Fundraising Association. Melody is a former MBA faculty teaching member at the Berlin International University for Design Thinking.
