
Katherine Steffen, CFRE, is the Senior Director of Advancement at Concordia University, Nebraska. In this role, Katherine provides leadership to all aspects of Concordia’s fundraising efforts. With over a decade of experience, she has been a frontline fundraiser throughout her career with experience in annual fund, major gift work, mid-level fundraising and administrative leadership. Prior to her current position, Katherine served in a variety of roles, including Senior Development Officer at her alma mater where she worked directly with high-level donors and prospects to secure gifts and as Director of Campaigns and Philanthropic Engagement at Luther Seminary where she provided strategic direction to the seminary’s $70 million comprehensive campaign. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Concordia University, Saint Paul, and a master’s degree in educational policy and administration from the University of Minnesota.
