Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000

We are seeking a Senior Development Officer to expand our major gift pipeline, achieve fundraising targets through strategic donor engagement, and elevate the visibility of our new parent programs. This role will be instrumental in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of donors while leading initiatives that foster deep, long-term donor commitment.
What You’ll Do:
Develops and implements a comprehensive plan for the long-term growth, solicitation, and stewardship and donors.
Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards donors capable of making major gifts of $25,000+.
Actively manages a portfolio of prospective supporters through school events, in-person meetings, phone visits, and written communications.
Implements agreed-upon fundraising metrics, utilizing Raiser’s Edge to track activities and report progress on a regular basis.
Commits to some travel and to working some evenings and weekends.
Works with the Director of Development to design and implement new parent fundraising programs and initiatives that engage and inspire long-term donor commitment.
Partners with the Enrolment team to help identify incoming families with potential to engage as volunteers and/or donors.
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree and experience in major gifts, preferably at an educational institution; fundraising designation a plus
Direct experience and demonstrated success with soliciting leadership gifts
Strong project management, organization and planning skills, with a demonstrated track record of program development and implementation and attentiveness to detail
Proficiency with Raiser’s Edge and highly developed computer skills with proficiency in Google suites and Microsoft Office
