Sessoion 1 The effects of 2020 on Prospect Research: the struggles and successes

Apra Members,

Please join us for our first virtual networking session on March 25th.

The pandemic of COVID-19 has been taking its toll on Canadians for over a year now. Many charities and non-profits have struggled in this changing climate, and for many working remotely has raised many challenges.

The first of the Apra Canada Virtual Networking Sessions would like to provide a space for members where we can come together to discuss some of these challenges and issues we are facing in these times. As a networking opportunity we would also love to hear from our members strategies and successes that they have had this past year.

The Apra Canada Virtual Networking Sessions will allow members from across Canada to virtually engage with one another in a large session and smaller breakout sessions. We encourage our members to participate and share their stories so that we may learn from one another.

If there are any questions or topics that you would want covered please send them to profdev@apracanada.ca.

A link to the event registration page has been sent to all current Apra Canada members. If you haven't received the email, contact profdev@apracanada.ca for the link.

Host: Our Apra Canada Virtual Networking Session 1 host will be Selene Hur. Selene is the Manager of Prospect Development & Research at the YMCA of Greater Toronto. Whether it’s in structured or informal learning environments, Selene enjoys taking opportunities to share and learn from others. She currently serves on the boards of Apra International and the Toronto Wildlife Centre, and is a past president of Apra Canada. She holds a Masters of Information Studies from the University of Toronto and Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts & Cultural Management) from the University of Waterloo.
